Born amidst the tranquil beauty of East Tennessee’s mountains, my path to yoga began amidst personal challenges during my college years as a social work student.

My Journey

Yoga first entered my life as a beacon of hope when traditional approaches to managing depression felt misaligned with my needs. What started with a single class to alleviate stress blossomed into a profound passion, guiding me to pursue over 12 years of dedicated practice and learning. My journey has been one of continuous growth, driven by a deep-seated belief in yoga’s power to heal and transform lives.

Qualifications

My academic background in social work and trauma-informed care enriches my yoga instruction, allowing me to create a nurturing and sensitive practice environment for all my students. I am certified with both a 200-hour yoga certification through a yoga alliance accredited school and sound healing, my approach is tailored to foster both physical and emotional well-being.
